Adrienne Meyer serves as the Field Chief of Police for the United States Bullion Depository, Fort Knox, Kentucky. As the Field Chief, she serves as the senior Treasury and United States Mint official at the facility.
She began her career with the Depository in 1996 and has formerly served as a Police Officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Inspector. She has also served as the facility’s Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, Law Enforcement Control Tactics Instructor, Use of Force Instructor, Evidence Custodian, and Quartermaster.
In addition to her Mint career, Field Chief Meyer retired from the United States Army Reserves with over 22 years. She spent a combination of service on active duty, reserve duty and combat deployment to Bagram, Afghanistan as a United States Army Criminal Investigations (CID) Special Agent. She was also part of the Protective Service Detail for the Secretary of Defense, Secretary of the Army, Army Chief of Staff, and Vice Chief of Staff.
Field Chief Meyer is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute’s Administrative Officers Course, Chief Executive Leadership Course, Police Executive Undergraduate Leadership Program, and Managing a Small Law Enforcement Agency. She is a recipient of the FBI Leadership Executive Education Development Association’s Leadership Trilogy Award, having completed the Supervisor, Command, and Executive Leadership Institute courses and the E-Trilogy Certificate, focusing on supervisor liability and ethics in law enforcement. She holds five certifications from the Office of Personnel Management’s Graduate School and is currently pursuing Six Sigma certification.
